 It was a rainy day down at the Peterborough Downtown Farmers' Market last week, but it didn't stop industrious farmers like Jay Perkins of Urban Agriculture from bringing his spinach, greens and radishes to the kitchens of market-goers

Wednesday May 25th

Due to unforseen circumstances, our Chef was not at the market last week, but she will be there tomorrow with lots of goodies, and on-site cooking demonstrations!

 Tomorrow, the Peterborough Master Gardener's will also be at the Peterborough Downtown Market to answer any & all of your plant questions! This is the perfect week to stock up on all your fresh veggie seedlings, herbs, annuals & perennials!

Returning to the market this week will be one of our market-goers favourite traditions! Our Guest Chef Ursula Fugger from Windswept B & B  will be showcasing the local meat, cheese & produce available at the market. She will also be promoting the wonderful work of Slow Food Northumberland
Come on down to learn more about Slow Food, some unique ideas for cooking up the foods you can find at the market & of course to try out a sample!
