I like this simple one for Grilled Strawberries:

Grilled Ontario Strawberries

This season, try something a little different with your fresh Ontario Grown Strawberries.

Preparation Time: 1 minute 
Cooking Time: 2 minutes 
Servings: per serving

Ingredients:

• 3 large Ontario Strawberries
• vegetable oil
• freshly ground black pepper

Preparation:

Thread 3 large Ontario Strawberries crosswise on each wooden skewer for each serving. Brush with vegetable oil and sprinkle generously with freshly ground black pepper. Grill 2 minutes on each side or until heated through. Serve with Ontario Grilled Chicken or Pork.

Strawberries Confirmed for tomorrow!

Just spoke with McLean's Berry Farm and they have confirmed that they will be bringing strawberries to the Downtown Market tomorrow! See you there!

The Downtown Market happily welcomes back Guest Chef Ursula Fugger. With donated delicious chevre from Crosswind Farms, smoked trout from Two Dishes Catering, portobello mushrooms from Waymac Farms, pea shoots from Birds Head Hollow, asparagus from Woolderdale & McLean's, and crackers from A Better Bite, she started whipping up tasty treats live on-site at the market!
